Night fishing is one of the best times you can have on the water. Yes you don’t have the suns warming rays, and yes it can be a little bit buggy, but when the fish are biting well all those other things don’t seem to matter. With that said some of the most amazing things happen at night when the fish are less pressured. The fish often congregate in areas normally inundated with boat traffic during the daylight hours. Its not uncommon to sneak up on posies of tarpon harassing schools of bait infatuated by a dock light or pier. Quite often its actually the easiest of fishing for these silver kings. These fish are so involved with the bait schools it makes it much easier to set up you position and get your bait right where there eating.
