Well winter time is now upon us, as we watch the first of hopefully few major cold fronts work through Southwest Florida. However the fishing’s been good overall in both the bay and nearshore waters. The last two weeks have been fun most off the days. We’ve had lots of opportunistic tides and winds. We did see a hint of red-tide offshore but thankfully it didn’t find its way into the bay. The bays been a great place for redfish, snook, trout, and the beginning of the sheepshead push. Nearshore its been tripletail, tarpon, macks, and pompano. There’s been alot of different pelagics including kingfish just off our beaches following schools of bait fish that’s slowly moving South. With a bit of luck that bait will stick around for a few more weeks. This cold front will make things tough the next 4 or 5 days but we’ll start warming up again soon so no worries. Tight lines
