Well its official, the big trout have arrived! With water temperatures dropping as our cold fronts run through, we will undoubtedly see more and more of them. Fishing for these fish can be done in many different ways. Top water early in the morning can give an angler explosive hits. Throwing live bait out on popping corks or free lining shrimp makes it easier for the inexperienced angler. Another favorite of mine is using jig heads with soft plastics such as redfish majic or gulps. So get out there and fish tight lines.
